Events & Entertainment

1:00 - Weapons demonstration by Tom Leoni and Nathan Quarantillo
2:00 - The York Creation play directed by Bridget Grace Sheaff
3:00 - Medieval church music by the Dominican Schola (and/or more weapon demonstrations)
4:00 - Early music by the Peabody Consort
5:00 - Human chess game featuring faculty & students (hosted by the Chess Club)
 
 
 
 
As well as...
  • a catapult launch
  • wooden shield painting
  • chainmail making demonstration
  • spinning demonstration
  • medieval board games
  • fun activities for kids, and
  • a RAFFLE (with amazing prizes for big and small).
 
All proceeds from Medieval Day benefit the manuscript conservation efforts of the Rare Books Collection of CUA's Mullen Library.
